Toboggan Style Men’s Head Warmer Hat

MATERIALS:
Caron Simply Soft or any Worsted Weight #4 Yarn in your choice of colors.
Pictured Hat Shown used Caron Simply Soft Charcoal Heather and Grey Heather for the main area and Caron Simply Soft Iris and Grape for the Rolled Up area.
Size US J10 – 6.00 MM (Susan Bates) Hook
***NOTE***
Pattern Uses Two (2) Strands of Yarn **Held Together** Throughout.
PATTERN:
Rnd 1. Ch3 (CH3 Does NOT count as a stitch) with two strands held together of main color. 13 dc in   3rd ch from hook, join with sl st to top of first dc. (13dc)
Rnd 2. Ch 2 (CH2 Does NOT count as a stitch here or throughout pattern), 2dc in same st as joining, 2dc in each st around, join with sl st to top of first dc. (26dc)
Rnd 3. Ch 2, 2dc in same st as joining, 1dc in next st, * 2dc in next st, 1dc in next st * repeat from * to * around, join with sl st to top of first dc. (39dc)
Rnd 4. Ch 2, 2dc in same st as joining, 1dc in each of next 2 sts, * 2dc in next st, 1dc in each of next 2 sts * repeat from * to * around, join with sl st to top of first dc. (52dc)
Rnd 5. Ch 2, 2dc in same st as joining, 1dc in each of next 3 sts, * 2dc in next st, 1dc in, each of next 3 sts * repeat from * to * around, join with sl st to top of first dc in back loop only.  (65dc)

Fasten Off and Weave in All Ends
Pattern may be altered by changing number of DCs in Rnd 1. (Then change each additional Rnd by multiplying the number you begin with by 2 for Rnd 2 – by 3 for Rnd 3 – by 4 for Rnd 4 – by 5 for Rnd 5. (Example if you start with 11dc, Rnd 2 will have 22DC, Rnd 3 will have 33DC, Rnd 4 will have 44DC, and Rnd 5 will have 55DC.

Coffee Server Coaster Set

Materials:
I used Red Heart Super Saver Medium Weight (4) Yarn (similar should work as well)
Small amounts of Color A (color for cup)
Small amounts of Color B (color for coffee or inside of cup)
Size G6/4.00mm Hook (this is the size on my Susan Bates G hook)
COFFEE CUPS, Make 4 or 6

Chain 13 with Color A.
Row 1 – sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 11 ch sts, ch1, turn. (12sc)

Rows 2 – 7 – sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 11 sts, ch1, turn. (12sc)

Row 8 – 2 sc in sane st as ch1, sc in next 10 sts, 2sc in next st, ch1, turn. (14sc)

Row 9 – 2 sc in sane st as ch1, sc in next 12 sts, 2sc in next st, ch1, turn. (16sc)

Rows 10 – 13 – sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 15 sts, ch1, turn. (16sc)

Row 14 – sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 15 sts, ch2, turn (16sc)

Row 15 – hdc in same st as ch1, sc in next 14 sts, hdc in next st, ch1, turn.

Row 16 – sc in same st as ch1 (changing two Color 2 by pulling it through final two loops of sc st you are doing) sc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, treble in next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts changing two Color 1 by pulling it through final two loops of sc st you are doing) sc in next st, ch1 turn. (6sc, 4hdc, 4dc, 2treble)

Row 17 – sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 14 sts, 3sc in next sc (this will be the corner of the piece) sc in ends of sc rows, 3 sc in last sc row (this will be the corner of the piece) sc in next sc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 2 sts, dc in next 2 sts, hdc in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts, 3sc in next st (this will be the corner of the piece) sc in end of sc rows, 2sc in same st as beginning sc and sl st into beginning ch1 st. Finish Off, Weave in ends.

HANDLE:
Turn piece over (Right Side of Color B row facing you)
Sl st into 6th sc from bottom corner on either side of cup, ch 14 join with a sc into 16th sc from bottom of cup, sl into next sc   (17th sc from bottom of cup) sc in each ch around, sc into 5th sc from bottom of cup joining handle to cup side. Finish off. Weave in ends.

COFFEE PERCULATOR PAD

Materials:
I used Red Heart Super Saver Medium Weight (4) Yarn (similar should work as well)
Color A (color for pot)
Color B (Small amounts of color for handles)
Color C (Small amounts of color for percolator bulb on top)
Size H8/5.00mm Hook (this is the size on my Susan Bates G hook)

Chain 31
Row 1 – sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 30 ch sts, ch1, turn. (30sc)

Row 2 – sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 27 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 3 – sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 26 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 4 5 - sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 27 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 6 – sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 25 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 7 – sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 24 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 8 10 - sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 25 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 11 – sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 23 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 23 25 - sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 19 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 28 30 - sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 17 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 31 – sc 2 tog (first sc in same st as ch1) sc in next 14 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 32 - sc 2 tog (first sc in same st as ch1) sc in next 12 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 33 - sc 2 tog (first sc in same st as ch1) sc in next 10 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 34 - 40 - sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 11 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 41 - sc 2 tog (first sc in same st as ch1) sc in next 8 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, turn.

Row 42 - sc 2 tog (first sc in same st as ch1) sc in next 6 sts, sc 2 tog in next 2 sts, ch1, do NOT turn.

Start by doing 3sc in the same st as ch1 (going in the very corner –you will be going down the side), sc in end of each row until you get to bottom corner, 3sc in the corner.(in first row of sc from not in the beginning chain)

We want to work in the SC of first row at bottom, not the chain stitches.
2dc in next st, dc in next 8 sts, treble in next 10sts, dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next st, 3sc in corner sts.

Work up the other side of pot like the first side sc in end st of each row to top corner, 3sc in corner.

Sc across top and sl st into ch1. Finish off. Weave ends in.
Join with sl st in 6 sc from corner down the left side.
Ch1, sc in same st, sc in next 10sts.
Turn (do not chain any) sc in next 3sts, hdc in next 3sts, dc in next 4 sts. Ch2 turn
Dc in next 5sts, hdc in next 2sts, sc in next 2sts.
Turn (do not chain any) sc in next st, sc in next 7sts. Finish off. Weave ends in. 

PERCOLATOR BULB:
Join Color C into 2nd stitch on top from corner with a sc (do not count 3sc in corner) do extended sc next to 2sts (instead of going through the sc at edge go through the stitch in row below it) sc in next st.
Turn (do not chain any) sc in next 2sts. Finish off. Weave in ends.

HANDLES:
Top Handle:
Ch 13, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch st, 3sc in next ch st, sc in next 6 ch sts, 3sc in next ch st, sc in next 2 ch sts. Finish off. Leave tail to sew on to pot.
Space handle so it straddles the percolator bulb equally on each side, sew it to pot with same color yarn.
Side Handle:
Ch 41, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 5 ch sts, 3sc in next ch st, sc in next 18 ch sts, 3sc in next ch st, sc in next 14 ch sts, ch1, turn.
Sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 14sts, 3sc in next st,(this should be the center st of the previous rows 3 sc sts), sc in next  20sts, 3sc in next st,(this should be the center st of the previous rows 3 sc sts),  sc in next 7 (or until end of sts). Fasten off. Leave a tail to sew to pot.
Center top (long leg) of handle in line with top of spout on opposite side; sew in place with same color yarn. Keeping top of handle running level outward and bottom (short leg) running level sew bottom leg intro side of pot.
